New Book from Badsey Artist and Historian Michael J. Barnard recall's his time as a Cadet in the Air Training Corps in a new book, Secret of the Skies. First hand accounts from Michael and ATC acquaintances tell the story of everyday life at the local airfields of Honeybourne, Pershore, and Defford, during WWII. The book contains nearly a hundred of Michael's unique drawings, many sketched back in the 1940's. The book is published by Perfect Image and available from local bookshops.
