Palm Sunday 2002
A donkey led a Procession of over 100 adults and young people from Badsey School to St James' Church. They sang Sing Hosanna and All Glory Lord and Honour and waved branches to the delight of villagers who came out of their houses to watch. In church we all took part in a dramatised reading of the Passion of Christ. This tells the story of Holy Week including the trial and crucifixion of Jesus. Young people from the Church Activity group, the confirmation group, the Rainbows, the Brownies, the Cubs and the Guides enjoyed dressing up and following the donkey.
Sheila Lancaster, Reader at Badsey Church has provided these photographs of the Palm Sunday Procession.
