Gina Phillips - Pottery Design Winner

Gina Phillips, aged 11, won first prize in the Royal Worcester 'Party Time' competition in 2004.

Thousands of competitors designed patterns for a new tea-cup and saucer. Gina's prize included a real cup and saucer, featuring her own design, made at the world famous Royal Worcester Porcelain works.

Gina also won a free visit to the pottery in Worcester for all of her classmates at Blackminster Middle School.

Gina was a pupil at Badsey First School from 1997 to 2003 and started at Blackminster in September 2003.

The photograph shows Georgina holding her winning design at a reception, held in April at the Royal Worcester Museum, for the winners of the competition.
