'The Wheatsheaf Inn, Badsey'
The Wheatsheaf is in the centre of the village and is one of two pubs in Badsey. This 17th century building has been a farm and a bakery before it became a pub. In the period between the two photographs, a window has been filled in where the pub sign now hangs.
Track Changes uses pairs of photographs to show how Badsey has altered over a period of about 75 years. The old pictures are from postcards sold at Badsey Post Office in the 1920s and reproduced with the kind permission of Pat Goldstraw. The new photographs were taken in 2001.
