Blackminster and Badsey schools sent sculptures, artwork and some moving literature. Contributions from local people included photographs and paintings. The Flower Guild's marvellous arrangements around the theme of angels enhanced the exhibition. John Major composed a poem especially for the event.

Contributions were also received from Douglas Hurd, Charles Kennedy, Chris Tarrant, Peter Luff and the cast of Eastenders. The Croft School in Stratford sent life sized angels which hung from the roof of the church. The church was beautiful, very welcoming and 500 visitors came. Everyone seemed to have an enjoyable time and many made positive comments and seemed happy when they left.
